Evaluations
We provide a dyslexia evaluation designed to determine if there is a profile of dyslexia. This three-hour assessment includes measurements of language skills such as phonemic awareness, decoding, oral reading fluency, spelling, and written expression. Measurements of oral language, both receptive and expressive, are also assessed.
After the scores are analyzed, a full and thorough narrative report is written with the results and determination. A follow-up consultation meeting is conducted to discuss results and to provide recommendations for instruction and school accommodations if needed.
